National Philanthropy: Children

As a collegiate organization serving the community through social action, our philanthropy is a huge part of our inception.

While we have the ability to bring awareness to many different philanthropies, Lambda Pi Upsilon Sorority, Inc. has adopted Children as our National Philanthropy.

As an organization, we have decided to focus on children due to truly believing that by building future leaders we will be able to build a better world and change our society’s defects.

Philanthropic Initiative:
Asthma Awareness

In 2005, Lambda Pi Upsilon Sorority, Inc. adopted Asthma Awareness as our National Philanthropic Initiative due to the passing of Hermana Teofila Estevez, SPR ‘94.

Every year since, we have participated in and conducted numerous events for the cause.

Additionally, we continuously partner with the American Lung Association and their efforts to raise Asthma Awareness.
